Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Sazzar ("Sazzar", "we", "us", or "our"), operator of www.sazzar.space (the "Platform"), collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects your personal data. We are committed to processing personal data in accordance with the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 and its executive regulations (the "PDPL"), as well as applicable data-protection principles where you access the Platform from outside Egypt.
By creating an account or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. Where the PDPL requires your consent, we ask for it before processing.
1. Data Controller
Sazzar is the data controller responsible for your personal data. For any privacy request or inquiry, contact us at admin@sazzar.space. (Please replace this with your registered legal entity name, commercial registration number, and registered address in Egypt before publishing.)
2. Personal Data We Collect
- Account data: name, email address, and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
- Sign-in provider data: if you sign in with Google, Apple, or Microsoft, we receive your basic profile (name, email, profile image, provider ID) from that provider.
- Generation inputs: the prompts, scripts, settings, and any images, photos, or audio voice samples you upload or create to generate content.
- Generated content: the images, videos, voice audio, and other media produced for you.
- Billing data: your plan, credit balance, usage records, and payment status. Card and bank details are entered directly with our payment processors and are not stored on our servers.
- Promotional data: promo codes you redeem and related redemption records.
- Technical data: IP address, device/browser information, approximate location, and cookies or similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
- Communications: messages you send to support and email verification/password-reset activity.
3. Voice, Likeness & Biometric Inputs
Some features (AI Influencer, voice cloning, talking-head videos) let you upload a voice sample or a face/portrait image to generate a digital persona. These inputs can be sensitive. You must only upload voices, faces, or likenesses that are your own or for which you have obtained explicit, documented permission from the person concerned. You are solely responsible for having the legal right to use any such material, and you grant us and our processors the limited right to process it to deliver the feature you requested.
4. How & Why We Use Your Data (Legal Bases)
Under the PDPL we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract: to create your account, generate the content you request, manage credits, and process plan purchases.
- Your consent: for optional features, voice/likeness processing, marketing communications, and non-essential cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests: to secure the Platform, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce rate limits, and improve our services - balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation: to comply with Egyptian law, tax/accounting requirements, and lawful requests from competent authorities.
5. Third-Party Service Providers (Sub-Processors)
To operate the Platform we share the minimum data necessary with the providers below. When you generate content, your prompt and any uploaded inputs are transmitted to the relevant AI provider to produce the output.
| Provider | Purpose | Data shared |
|---|---|---|
| MuAPI (api.muapi.ai) | AI image, video, lip-sync & reference generation | Prompts, settings, uploaded/source images, audio, generated media |
| MiniMax (via MuAPI) | Text-to-speech & voice cloning | Scripts, uploaded voice samples, voice IDs |
| Paymob | Payment processing | Order amount, contact details, payment status |
| Kashier | Payment processing | Order amount, contact details, payment status |
| Google / Apple / Microsoft | Optional single sign-on (OAuth) | Basic profile (name, email, ID) on your authorization |
| Amazon Web Services (AWS) | Application hosting & database storage | All stored account and usage data |
| Email delivery provider | Verification & transactional emails | Email address, message content |
| Google Analytics (Google LLC) | Aggregate usage analytics — only after you accept optional cookies | Pseudonymous usage events, device/approx. location |
| Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) | Advertising measurement — only after you accept optional cookies | Pseudonymous events, device data |
These providers act as our processors or independent controllers and operate under their own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal data.
6. International Data Transfers
Some of the providers listed above process data on servers located outside the Arab Republic of Egypt. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we do so in accordance with the PDPL's cross-border transfer requirements - which may include your explicit consent and/or ensuring an adequate level of protection. By using features that rely on these providers, you consent to the transfer of the relevant data for the purpose of delivering the service you requested.
7. AI-Generated Content
Generated outputs are produced by third-party AI models and may be inaccurate, unexpected, or resemble existing works. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before use and for ensuring your use complies with law and the rights of others. See our Acceptable Use Policy for prohibited content.
8. Data Retention
We retain account and billing data for as long as your account is active and as required to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Generation inputs and outputs are retained to provide the service and your history; you may request deletion as described below. Transient data sent to AI providers is governed by their retention practices.
9. Data Security
We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS), hashing of passwords (bcrypt), access controls, rate limiting, and server-side handling of third-party API keys so they are never exposed to your browser. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Rights Under the PDPL
Subject to the PDPL, you have the right to:
- Be informed about how your data is processed;
- Access your personal data and obtain a copy;
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten") where applicable;
- Restrict or object to certain processing;
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior lawful processing;
- Data portability where technically feasible; and
- Lodge a complaint with the Egyptian Data Protection Center.
To exercise any right, email admin@sazzar.space. We will respond within the period required by law. You may also delete most data by removing the relevant items in your account or by requesting account closure.
11. Children
The Platform is not directed to children. Minors may only use the Platform with the consent and under the supervision of a holder of parental responsibility, in line with the PDPL. If you believe a child has provided us data without such consent, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the Platform, and may use optional analytics cookies with your consent. See our Cookie Policy for details and choices.
